I had the option of changing my stern light, or buying a new one.
Normally, I prefer to refurb, but in this case the light can be seen the requisite distance away, whereas the old one (1979) was dull and unreliable

Although looked very similar indeed to my existing lights, these dont have any backing plate, or obvious way to mount to 25mm rail. Seem well made apart from this, and now mounted on custom made wooden brackets!
