I bought this to protect my bow from damage when raising my anchor with a new motorised windlass. It will do this well and may come in handy when approaching a marina berth if I remember to lower it before docking! I need to rig the right length of lines to give me this option.
A great item. It is tough and strong and offers great protection against my bow bumping the pontoon. It gives that little extra peace of mind when the weather turns bad.
