CT1 Bonding and Sealant
Bosun Bob's Chandlery is now stocking CT1 Sealant and Bonding mastic.
This product originally came from the building trade but lends itself very well to the marine environment as it is is a waterproof sealant, so ideal for bedding deck fittings and windows but it is also suitable to be used under water so could be used for filling the joint between the hull and keel. It can also be used on damp surfaces!
One massive advantage it has over rivals like Sikaflex is that once you open the tube, you can keep using the product for weeks at a time.
